Epsom Safe Haven has moved to the Brickfield Centre

The Epsom Safe Haven has now moved to new permanent premises at the Brickfield Centre, Portland Place, Epsom KT17 1DL.

The service continues to be open as a drop-in from 6pm-11pm every day of the year, including weekends and bank holidays. Adults (aged 18+) experiencing a mental health crisis are able to receive help both in person and virtually at the Safe Haven (no referral needed). People can connect to the Epsom Safe Haven virtually by clicking on this link: https://nhs.vc/sabp/safe-haven-Epsom

The move follows an agreement between commissioners from Surrey County Council, funders at Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System, as well as service providers Mary Frances Trust and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) that the former site at The Larches was no longer suitable to deliver the service. After an extensive engagement period to gather views from people using the service as well as partner organisations and local stakeholders, it was decided that the best location for the service was at the Brickfield Centre in Epsom.

We would like to remind people that whilst face coverings are no longer required by law in England, they remain a requirement in healthcare settings. We therefore ask any in-person visitor to our Safe Havens to wear a clean facemask (unless exempt), as well as sanitise their hands and keep social distancing as much as possible.

How to get there

The easiest way to get to the Brickfield Centre is to walk or drive. It is a 14-minute walk or a three-minute drive from our former site at The Larches on Waterloo Road. Extensive carparking is available at the new site.

Buses 406 and 293 leave Epsom clock tower (near Epsom station) and go to the Rainbow Leisure Centre nearby. It is then a six-minute walk to the Safe Haven at the Brickfield Centre.
